For the first time in its history, the world known floral park, Keukeuhof is not welcoming any visitors or tourists due to Coronavirus shutdown. This year alone seven million bulbs were planted by hand offering a magic scenery of a beautiful bulb-flower garden where you can find more than 800 varieties of tulips. In order for everyone to still be able to enjoy Keukenhof, they decided to “virtually” open the garden and brining Keukenhof to you! The manager Bart Siemerink and its team decided to make virtual visits on Youtube.
This event is taking place every year since 1857 and begin to attract visitors and tourists around 1950. Nowadays, during few weeks every year the garden attracts more than 1.5 millions of visitors. Looking at this year scenery with anyone around it will make you want to go next year when the attraction will reopen.
The park is at its peak in mid-April and reveals all its richness. Every weekend of the month is enriched by an event, particularly on the King’s Day on 27 April.
